NEED4Women is a Liberia-registered, non-governmental social enterprise dedicated to promoting gender equity, diversity, and inclusion (GEDI) by improving the lives of women and girls in vulnerable communities, particularly in rural and peri-urban areas. We design and implement projects that address systemic gender inequalities, facilitate female-led economic initiatives, and provide development services across education, science and technology, agriculture, and eco-tourism sectors.
We work closely with multiple stakeholders to identify and address the root causes of gender-based violence, socio-economic disparities, and other forms of gender inequality in Liberia. Our goal is to advance GEDI principles through a mixed methodology that includes research, advocacy, and practical interventions aimed at improving access to quality and equitable economic development opportunities.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that true progress comes from collective action and shared responsibility. By combining research, advocacy, capacity building, and empowerment initiatives, we work to create sustainable pathways for women and girls to thrive. Our focus extends beyond addressing immediate challenges—we aim to reshape systems, expand opportunities, and nurture the potential of women and girls so they can lead change in their communities and beyond.
